Go to China! is a pitching event that provides a pivotal opportunity to take the next step forward with your project and enter Chinese game market.
GIC offers shortlisted developers a chance to impress Chinese publishers and/or platform holders with the game idea, quality and development values in order to become published in China, or even globally. This edition also includes as a novelty selected Chinese game media if visibility is what you are looking for.
If you would like to pitch your game, please submit it in the appropriate form that will be announced. Applicants are encouraged to enter games after ideation stage (that are either in development or completed products) for consideration. Submitted projects will be subject to curation by experts. Only the selected projects will be presenting at the pitch.
The event is not paywalled. It is part of GIC and partners continuous effort to support game development. Any form of GIC access from Business Pass to free Geek Careers Open Pass allows to attend. Note however, that Business Pass also includes GIC meeting system allowing to invite any GIC business attendee for separate meetings.
Previous editions of Go to China! pitch were held during GIC’18 and GIC’19 and featured Chinese companies like: Tencent, NetEase, TapTap, ByteDance / TikTok, East2West, Giant Games / Giant Network, WhisperGames and X.D. Network.
