What are we looking for
- Specialized and deep expert-level lectures, rather fitting a good niche than too generic
- Providing practical guidance for devs with 5+ years of experience, something they will reuse in their own projects
- Fitting the advanced level in our difficulty scale
- Go beyond what’s commonly seen at other conferences or student events
- Join us in building a teaching event for experienced developers
- Devs at GIC prefer substance over fluff, so watering down lectures is not an option!

- Short talk – 20 min + 5 min Q&A
- Long talk – 45 min + 10 min Q&A
Language: English only
Location: Our audience requires in-person speaking in Poznań
Submission guidelines
- Submissions don’t need to fit existing tracks – we can create new ones if needed
- Ask yourself: “Will game developers use this knowledge?”
- 3+ experts from our Program Boards will review your talk
- You’ll always receive feedback – and may be asked to:
- Clarify or expand your proposal
- Answer reviewers’ questions
- Submit slides early
Please:
- Fill out the form carefully
- Complete all required fields
- Don’t be too superficial or vague in takeaway and vertical slice form fields, these are crucial for the reviewers and most often lead to requests for updating them.
- Focus on unobvious solutions, ideas, and advice, while you might skip the parts that reviewers would see as common knowledge
- Info marked [public] may be edited and used to promote your talk, you, and your company
- Please note that each submission is evaluated equally, and positive reviews are a prerequisite for acceptance of each talk.
